John Muir's The Yosemite is a novel recounting the journeys, explorations and discoveries Muir made in Yosemite. This project entails a book cover design, in which the novel was split into two volumes so I could make two distinct cover designs with the same DNA. The volumes are designed to show Yosemite by day and night.

Meanwhile, I designed the spreads of the novel, combining the text with beautiful images of the national park.

Spreads are designed to express the colossal and impressive experience that Yosemite has to offer. The images and layouts are treated to evoke the movement and energy of the natural environment.
