I'm Cam.

I’m a brand designer with roots in traditional media. I love to explore the coexistence of physical and digital media to build visual narratives. I’m curious to tell stories through mere suggestions — visual and verbal — that are enough to trigger the imagination.

My website and business Instagram are depots of tinkerings, passion projects and professional work. Something you may notice across my brand are these strange shapes that frame my posts and live on my business cards. What are these
things?

My parents taught me to be resourcefully creative. We collected objects, like drift wood at the beach or materials at the creative reuse depot, and repurposed them in creative projects (sculptures, assemblages, paintings). Naturally, I developed a curiosity to scavenge for stranded objects and draw inspiration from them in my creative work. What’s fascinating to me is interpreting the hidden story that found-objects carry —through their imperfections, usage, age, colors, material, texture and form — and destabilizing their original meaning through an alternative lens and visual experience.

These abstract shapes are based on objects I have found and used in my projects. They are foundational to my brand, inspiration, and creative process and act as framing devices, containers, patterns and narrative tools.

Likewise, my logo is made from rubber stamps that I've collected. The imperfect color fill, lines and texture are qualities I search to integrate into the digital world.

Overall, creative reuse embodies a mindset that values innovation, sustainability, and community. It empowers me to make a positive impact on the world while embracing creativity and resourcefulness.

I love to create things, solo, with friends, or with new/future design enthusiasts. If you want to collaborate on a project, please reach out and say hi!
